Lipo Shot

Our Lipo Shot is a combination of all natural ingredients designed to burn fat and increase energy. This includes lipotropic compounds, amino acids, and B vitamins formulated to support fat metabolism and energy levels. When used alongside a consistent diet and exercise program, it can complement your weight loss efforts.

Each dose is administered by a registered nurse at either of our two Memphis-area clinics, or at your workplace for groups of 10 or more. The Lipo Shot is recommended once per week.

Please note that the lipo shot cannot be administered to persons having kidney or liver impairment.

What’s in the Lipo Shot?

Our lipo shot formula contains five active ingredients, each playing a distinct role in fat metabolism and energy production:

• Methionine
• Inositol
• Choline
• Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine)
• Vitamin B12 (cobalamin)

Together, these compounds are classified as lipotropic agents, meaning they support the liver’s ability to process and export fat, reducing fat accumulation and supporting healthy metabolic function.

How Each Ingredient Works

Methionine

Methionine is an essential amino acid, meaning the body cannot produce it and it must come from diet or supplementation. It plays a key role in fat metabolism by supporting the liver’s ability to process and transport fatty acids. Methionine also acts as a precursor to other important compounds, including choline and inositol, and contributes to the detoxification of byproducts generated during protein metabolism.

Inositol

A naturally occurring sugar alcohol that plays an important structural role in cell membranes, and works with Vitamin E. It is involved in insulin signal transduction and lipid metabolism, and research suggests it supports the liver’s ability to process fat. Inositol also plays a role in the functioning of neurotransmitters, including serotonin and dopamine. Caffeine consumption may deplete inositol levels. Deficiency can lead to hair loss.

Choline

An essential nutrient that the body produces only in limited quantities, making dietary or supplemental intake important for most people. It is critical for fat transport and metabolism, choline is required to produce phosphatidylcholine, a molecule that allows the liver to export fat into the bloodstream. Choline deficiency is associated with fat accumulation in the liver (hepatic steatosis). It also serves as a precursor to acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in memory and muscle function.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)

A water-soluble B vitamin that functions as a coenzyme in over 100 enzymatic reactions, many of which involve the metabolism of amino acids, fats, and carbohydrates. It also supports adrenal function and plays a role in the synthesis of neurotransmitters including serotonin, dopamine, and GABA, making it relevant to mood, energy, and nervous system health.

Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin)

Essential for red blood cell formation, DNA synthesis, and neurological function. It is delivered via injection in this formula, which bypasses the digestive tract and ensures reliable absorption regardless of intrinsic factor levels. Our lipotropic formula is manufactured by an FDA-registered supplier and compounded for our specific use. As with any injectable compound, it is administered only by licensed registered nurses. Always consult with your primary care provider before beginning any supplementation.

What to Know Before Your Shot

Mild redness or irritation at the injection site may occur and typically resolves within 48 hours. The individual ingredients in this formula are naturally occurring compounds found in food and are generally well tolerated. The lipo shot cannot be administered to persons with kidney or liver impairment. Please inform your nurse of any relevant medical history before receiving this injection.
